Eisenmann Exhaust Systems is one of the nominees for the German Design Awards 2022 with its 'Signature Sidecut' tips.
Hemmingen, July 5, 2021 - "How do our tips look even more interesting from the side?" - Sarah Eisenmann had been asking this question since 2018 when she photographed the BMW M2 Competition: It was equipped with an exhaust system from her family business for demo purposes.
The answer is now called 'Signature Sidecut' and was nominated as 'Excellent Product Design' for the German Design Award 2022 in the 'Automotive parts and accessories' category. This is the international award from the German Design Council. He supports the economy in achieving consistent added value through product and communication design.
The new design for BMW M models was already announced by Sarah Eisenmann in the live stream of the tuning event at Motorworld Manufaktur Metzingen. As Head of Sales and Marketing, she had the idea for this globally unique design for fans of sporty sound and aesthetic design.
"We combine the best of our previous designs - the slant cut for dynamic rear ends with the embossing of our good name, which was previously on the top of the tip and was only available with a straight section", Eisenmann describes the 'Signature Sidecut' and adds: "Already the nomination is considered an award and makes us proud, because the jury is known for a strict selection process. We are curious to see whether we will make it to the next round!"
