With the 'Signature Sidecut' edition, Eisenmann Exhaust Systems brings the German Design Award 2022 for outstanding product design to Hemmingen.
Hemmingen, November 17, 2021 - "Sonorous sound made in Germany" is the motto of Eisenmann Exhaust Systems. The tailpipe design that matches the sound has now been refined by the jury of the German Design Awards with the award "Special Mention".
"We want to appeal to as many senses as possible with our products," explains Sarah Eisenmann, who is responsible for marketing and sales in the family business. She adds: "We have always stood for excellent sound and well thought-out design - constantly improving these two properties is the core of the company. Our 'Signature Sidecut' tips have now been awarded by the German Design Council in the 'Product Design' category. We are all very happy about the award ceremony!”
In the Hemminger manufactory, Robert Szabadkai designs the exhaust systems and is responsible for the sound - Sarah Eisenmann for the design: "The new tip idea came from me, Robert implemented it technically as an engineer. I describe myself as 'design addicted', addicted to good design. Robert really built the entire facility with great attention to detail,” she explains.
'Signature Sidecut' combines the sloping section for dynamic tails with the typical brand embossing: this was previously on top of the tip and was only available with a straight section. The award-winning new tips are available for all BMW M models with an exhaust system from Eisenmann Exhaust Systems.
