Friends of the VW Polo GTI (2019) can look forward to: Sonoren Klang made in Germany brings the new bolt-on exhaust system from Eisenmann Exhaust Systems.
Hemmingen, 20. May 2020 – The emblem with the three red letters GTI, which adorns the grille of the current VW Polo, stands for power and driving pleasure. The sporty little Wolfsburg player now receives the right sound from his Eisenmann Exhaust Systems for his 200 hp engine. The new exhaust system, known as 'Bolt-On', gives the VW Polo GTI a sonorous, powerful voice. Bolt-On means that the standard plug-in connection in the form of a clamp is used for the assembly from the gasoline particle filter (OPF). This means that there is no need to disconnect the standard exhaust system: the new sports exhaust system can be installed via plug & play. The system is made of high-quality stainless steel and is free of registration thanks to EC type approval. Eisenmann Exhaust Systems has 32 years of experience in the production of exhaust systems for sports drivers. The company manufactures at the Hemmingen site near Stuttgart. “Even in the Corona crisis, as a premium brand, we deliver quality made in Germany as usual. We are completely self-sufficient, so there are no delivery bottlenecks, ”explains Sarah Eisenmann, who is responsible for marketing and sales in the medium-sized family business. At Eisenmann Exhaust Systems, each new exhaust system and the associated original are measured. Compared to this, Eisenmann’s manual work comes up with two thirds less back pressure, significantly better flow and less heat build-up. "The new exhaust system for the VW Polo GTI has a pipe diameter of 70 millimeters throughout - that is, depending on where you measure in the production model, five to ten millimeters more space for the flow," says Eisenmann. The double tailpipes are interchangeable, as is usual at Eisenmann Exhaust Systems: You can choose from different versions that differ in design, surface finish (finish) and pipe diameter. For example, there are 83 millimeters in diameter in double-walled chrome or 90 millimeters in diameter with a slanted section.
