Hemmingen, August 18th, 2021 - RaceChip Chiptuning and Eisenmann Exhaust Systems have collaborated to develop a duplex exhaust system for the VW Golf 8 GTI. The result is convincing with its sonorous sound Made in Germany and the two cooperation partners are absolutely satisfied with the result of the cooperation, which is only just beginning due to the proximity of the two companies. Eisenmann and RaceChip both come from the greater Stuttgart area and share a passion for automobiles.
Chiptuning from the market leader for noticeable extra performance
With the RaceChip GTS Black chip tuning, the VW Golf 8 GTI provided by RaceChip achieves an increase in performance from 245 hp to 300 hp and from 370 Nm of torque to 420 Nm. New exhaust system from Eisenmann Exhaust Systems
The new Eisenmann system design creates ten percent less exhaust back pressure and makes the VW Golf 8 GTI significantly lighter: The factory equipment provides for a much larger, square muffler for the sporty Wolfsburg. The new complete system runs under the vehicle from the OPF directly to the rear silencers. When it comes to tailpipes, the Hemminger company is also waiting for a change: Originally, the current model in the Golf GTI range had rolled-up tailpipes with a 95 millimeter diameter and straight section. The new twin tailpipes have a diameter of 100 millimeters, show a thinner line towards the rear and have an inclined section. Eisenmann says: “The customers didn't like the series look that much. Our high-quality end pieces match the dynamic silhouette of the rear much better because they follow the lines of the GTI. ”The sports rear silencer for the VW Golf 8 GTI has an EC type approval and is therefore approved for the road.
