Small and light, but full of sound and power - this is how the new three" exhaust system from Eisenmann Exhaust Systems for the VW Golf 8 GTI can be described, which is now available to order.

Hemmingen, June 21, 2021 - Friends of the VW Golf 8 GTI can now have their car equipped with a duplex exhaust system from Eisenmann Exhaust Systems. Only a single pipe runs to the front under the vehicle up to the gasoline particulate filter (GPF). Eisenmann has increased its average from 65 to 76 millimeters - the equivalent of three inches. In the rear area, the system is divided into two small, flapless deep-drawn trays made of stainless steel like a Y-shaped section. They increase the flow and reduce the structure-borne noise, and thus annoying noises in the interior.

"With our promise to create sonorous sound made in Germany, we have outdone ourselves with the Golf 8 GTI," beamed Sarah Eisenmann, who is responsible for marketing and sales at the factory founded in 1988, and added: "The sound is phenomenal, for a turbo - we even convinced the critical competitors! You heard the vehicle from the tuner RaceChip, with whom we are cooperating on this project. ”Thanks to the reduced exhaust back pressure, the car has more torque and thus noticeably more power after installing the new system.

The new Eisenmann system design makes the VW Golf 8 GTI significantly lighter: The factory equipment provides a much larger, square muffler for the sporty Wolfsburg. The new complete system runs under the vehicle from the GPF directly to the rear mufflers.

When it comes to tips, the Hemminger company is also waiting for a change: Originally, the current model in the Golf GTI range had rolled-up tailpipes with a 95 millimeter diameter and straight section. The new twin tips have a diameter of 100 millimeters, show a thinner line to the rear and have an inclined section. Eisenmann says: “Some customers didn't like the series look that much. Our high-quality end pieces fit the dynamic silhouette of the rear much better because they follow the lines of the GTI. "

The sports rear muffler for the VW Golf 8 GTI has an EC type approval and is therefore approved for the road in the EU.
